California resorts

I would like the opinions of the various members of this site as to which resort you all feel has the most bang for your buck. I am planning on spending a few days this summer at one of the resorts I just have not made a decision yet. I have been comparing prices and such but I have only visited laguna del sol. I am a single male so I know I am going to have to call ahead to most places and make arrangements to visit but that is okay.
Thank you all for your help ahead of time. Now tell me what you think!!!!

I've made several visits to Glen Eden and really enjoyed it. Friendly people, relaxed atmosphere, some nice hiking trails, nice central pool. It does tend to get really crowded on weekends, though. If you're in the area I think it's worth checking out for at least an afternoon.

TCI ... couples only, no single males! May not be to everyone's liking but it's worked for them and they are very successful. ; ) I think we have a number of clubs and resorts, here in California, that appeal to just about everyone's taste and requirements. From rustic to quite upscale ... there are plenty to chose from. It would help to know if you'll be visiting a certain area besides Northern Cal and what your tastes or requirements are and we can point you in the right direction. BTW ... we stayed at Laguna del Sol and had an awesome time. Not every single person has a positive experience but just because one or a few people have negative experiences .... doesn't make the place wrong or bad. We love LdS and will return again and have recommended it to our close friends. You might want to try Glen Eden in Southern California. If the weather's nice enough at the beach ... Black's Beach is about an hour and 15 minutes south of Glen Eden. You'd get to visit a nudist club and a nude beach during your stay in So Cal. ; )

I've been to Glen Eden near LA in Ontario, CA and Laguna del Sol in Wilton, SC near Sacramento. Both were very much enjoyed. LdS has an indoor pool.
I am not thrilled that Lupin now opens its gates to less than nudists.

Let's not forget Desert Sun Resort, which is clearly the most upscale naturist resort in CA. (Palm Springs)
