Conceal Carry
I have a Taurus "Judge" .410 stainless. Not a long range weapon by any means but
loaded with the Defender ammo it will sure screw up someone's day close in. I wanted
something that we could carry in the motorhome and not worry about going through
the windshield and into another rig.
I've had a CC permit for probably 10 years now, mostly from a "use it or lose it" point of view - it's too much hassle to carry, and there's a bigger risk of the gun getting stolen when I have to leave it in the car than there is likely to be a situation where I'd need it. But that's my own situation...
I'm fortunate to live in Kern County, where they issue a large number of
CCW permits each year. If you move a few miles down the road to LA county, your
chances of getting a permit are slim and none.
This county is known as conservative, and very pro Second Amendment.
I've had a permit since the early nineties. I posted a photo of the
three handguns that are listed on my permit. Best Wishes and Nude Regardsto All
