RE: Olly's Photo Thread

this is Olly's world...you need to open your own website for all these postings!!!It was by invitation. But I take your point. I'll kill the life story and just show pics I particlarly like or ones that are a bit off beat. I'll give a little description for each one.

Youv'e probably seen this before. It is a real fig leaf off a tree with real figs on it. What I like about this is that They initielly classed it as "Clothed"

That was a hot summer in Portugal. The feigleaves wilted fast, just as I did.
But it wasn't a time to sit arround. There was a hole to dig in the sun-baked clay. In that weather there was just one way to dig it. Naked. And then have a well dserved cold beer.

They have Allo plants that grow flower spikes as tall as trees . Here is one that would bring down the phone line if it fell. So we got a rope on it and I pulled while they chopped it down.

We thought it was Allo Vera, the one with the sap tht soothes the skin. I was wondering why everyoneelse was clothed on such a nice day, whilst we chopped itup with the chain saw. The man holding back behind me was down to his shorts, I suppose.

It turned out this wasn't allo vera it was allo cricky and the sap causes bad irritation to the skin. I was lucky I guess.
Maybe I was a bit mad. But I was Cirtified a while ago.

I've just been naked hiking in Spain and you might see the pics in my profile soon. I try to upload a few at a time so free members can see them, if only brefely. Anyhow here are some from my various naked hikes in Portugal, at various times of the year.
Cliff top walks give magnificent views down into the sea below. The crashing waves remind us we are on the Atlantic coast.

One of my fav beaches is Furnas beach, A lovely sandy beach set in a cove and at the end of a long track. It is rarely crowded even at the height of summer. Here is a view of it from the cliff top. Just one person on the beach, naked of course.

In the winter it looks a bit different. the stream runs, filling a back water.

This was taken in November. In the summer those low caves behind me are hihg and dry.
There is ancient history nearby too. I joke that this standing stone is an enormous Ryhnoserous, not quite burried. Actually it dates back centuties.

I had to be carefull taking this photo. A house stands to the left just out of the pic and the owner was in his garden.

I've done some crazy things, just for the photo. Climbing this rock must be one of them. There was a rope to help me climb and the rock was really rough, like course sand paper. I was unlikely to slip but if I did there would be a few sore bits.

Even in December the foolhardy can go Skinnydipping. Here I am on Christmas day, just off Zavial beach next door. Well I call it Skinnydipping. It is more like wading in and being knocked over by the waves. It was a lot warmer than the Serpanite in London.

I'm in Am Dram. Here I am just getting ready to go on stage:

So many of us take a pic in the mirror and it shows us holding the camera. I bought a Gurrillapod which allows you to attach the camera to literally anything. Guess where it is in this pic.

I also like to do a bit of DIY - nothing too big or difficult:

And there's the great outdoors. Would anyone like to join me hiking in the Yorkshire Dales? (Genuine request)
