I got to get out and do some fishing today. I hiked to private lake and it was nice so I got in boat to fish a bit. I caught a bass before wind picked up and I went back. One disadvantage of hiking to lake to fish is I had to carry the fish a mile and a half to house. LOL
wow this weird weather is getting the best of me, wet and cold dry and cold and bundle up fishing weather, no i don't like any of those choices so am watching the weather forcast and when it gets in the low 60's with no wind blowing i'm going ! i have been playing and sorting the tackle box and fishing poles, my son found me a old school fiberglass rod that i put a new handle on and replaced a line guide on it, i also put a zebco 33 on it so it will be one of the 3 rods i take fishing next time i go. i also bought a couple new lures today i'm a nut for lures and fishing equipment , you know the truth you can buy thousands of dollars in equipment and catch little of nothing or a $5. cane pole and dig some worms and rack up on catching fish, oh well i'm sitting here waiting to go...........
I have been nude fishing at a public lake several times. The lake is Huge. It is a man made resivior. Many roads iinter twine . Some of the roads dead end. Old road beds and trails. A hiker could get lost if they don't know there way. Fishing , hiking, and horseback is alowed. No moter vehicles. Electric motor boats only.
Swimming/skinney dipping is not allowed, nor is nude. Hummmm. We find places to nude fish any how. Sometimes we sit around in our canves camp chair nude and fish. Then skinny dip later. At times hikers have wakled by, too late for us to cover. At times they have even stopped for conversation. I think the Game Warden knows of our spot and leaves us alone. We always Pack out what we pack in and then some. We leave our little cove very clean.
running bare sounds like you have found paradise, i have a favorite place to fish with my boat and to kayak. it is ina state park with there own police force so ya really got to be careful when nude but have a little cove where other also go to skinnydip and sunbathe. i think if the police found out they wouldnn't look the other way. there are some other larger lakes and a few rivers that would be ,more easier to be nude at but as gasprices risesdistance make the other laks and rivvers not a option.
Here are some more of the fish I have caught, the largest bass was about 7 pounds and gave me a real fight on light tackle. I have been using the Storm Wild Eye Swim Crappie with great results, I tried the same lure in sunfish color and had equal results.
