looking for ideas for events
Summer pool parties are awesome but what do you do the rest of the year? We have a party and pot luck for any event imaginable. Super Bowl, St. Patrick's Day, Marti Gras, post Thanksgiving leftover party, Kentucky Derby, Valentines Day, Cinco de Mayo to name a few. We have game nights, nights with funny videos recorded from the web (you gotta see Mrs. Brown), casino nights. We were fortunate enough to have a Craps dealer as a member so learning and playing Craps was a real hoot. Just schedule a party and let the guests decide what to do. They can bring their favorite games and teach new ones. The idea is to get naked and have fun with your friends.
thanks for the input. We have some other clubs who have a swim, and a bowling each twice a year. We have rented large motel rooms, and cabins, to have as meeting rooms, but running out of new ideas, and I guess the main thing we need is ideas for a place to have it, since we are a non landed club, and many do not want to have it at their home.
Basically Sauna/Spa private rental is good especially in cold season, summertime just pools but more difficult part ois where as in US you have to be out of sight. Holiday villages for a weekend get-together. All is up to a proprietors, if they willing to rent fo nude bunch and also agree that nudity is all over and 24/7. If your buck is good enough, it should work out.

We are lucky that our non-landed club (Sunchasers) does have members who host events at their houses. They also have a long-running nude bowling event, but that is just once per year. We also go to monthly swims with another non-landed club during the winter. That second club has organized a trip to Club Orient in June that we are going on. You could do something similar... organize a summer road trip weekend to a local landed club or a trip to one of the open all year clubs in the Caribbean, Florida, Arizona, California, etc. Finding an indoor location that will agree to host events is harder, but can offer a great break during the winter. Bowling and swimming have already come up, but you could get creative here: a restaurant with a private function room, a museum, a theater. How you find someplace willing to host the event should be the hard part... thinking of something fun to do should be the easy part!
Travelites has at least 2 events monthly. Right now we have 2 properties available: my 7 acres with pool, hot tub, etc. and another member with a hot tub and large home. We also offer our place if someone doesn't have a feasible location to host, to co-host (arrive early to help set up and stay later to help cleanup).
Travelites is going into its 28th year. We use the calendar as well as area events as guides to what we do, ie. Low country boil every spring, two oyster roasts a year, lobster bash, Mardi Gras (during the actual time), Welcome to Spring, Welcome to Summer, Winter Holiday Party, Valentine's, Chinese New Year, Mexican Fiesta, Naked World Gardening Day, Earth Day, Thanksgiving Feast, Halloween, Tie dying, egg coloring, Pizza & Video night, team board games, etc. We have also rented a house on a lake with a hot tub and private deck.
