RE: Trip to Hanlan's PointI've been wanting to take a trip to Hanlan's for a long time now, but I'm wondering what I should expect going there.
I know it's clothing-optional...so for those who frequent, how often do you find non-nuding people on the beach?
For those who go by themselves, are there lockers, or places to lock valuables away, if you wanted to take a dip?
Are people pretty friendly on the beach?

RE: Trip to Hanlan's PointShiftin', there aren't lockers that I'm aware of. There's a shower and change room nearby. I prefer going on weekdays, because it's less crowded and mostly all nude. The weekends attract more gawkers. I don't really take anything of value with me, but people have watched my stuff for me. Very friendly crowd.

RE: Trip to Hanlan's PointThere "used" to be lockers, where the flag pole is. But I heard they breakdown all the time (ie. you couldn't open them again - luckily that has not happened to me) so the city did away with them.
Anyone remember the lockers they used to have at TTC stations? the same kind.

RE: Trip to Hanlan's PointWe will wait for the warmer and sunnier weather to return. 13 degrees and raining is no fun at the beach.
