Riverside Ranch Updates
Saturday, December 6th, 2008
Riverside Ranch will be having our Christmas party, dinner and dance on this day. The Festivities will begin at 4:00 PM with our potluck dinner. The club will be supplying the Christmas hams. The signup sheet is already posted in the restaurant and it really helps if you sign up early and write down the following:
1. Number of people in your group.
2. Type of dish or dishes you are preparing.
Saturday December 13, 2008 Begins after Breakfast
Petanque tournament for Saturday, beginning after breakfast. At
press time Roger said that it will be teams of 2 and there
will be a prize or prizes to the winners. Roger has it all under
control. After a fun day on the Petanque courts the Wee
Bee Bare Caf will be serving a full course meatloaf dinner
at 6:00 PM for $10.00 per person and then well go dancing
at Daves Disco from 8:30 to ?

You dont want to miss Riversides Nude Years Eve Bash!
This is the social event of the year. Come and enjoy ringing
out the old year with all your friends that you made during
2008 at Riverside. Then we will all usher in 2009 and think
ahead to all the great times that were going to experience in
our lives in the coming year. This evening we are going to
enjoy Junes famous Roast Beef dinner which will be served
at 6:30 PM sharp! At your table you will receive your party
favors (hats, noise makers, leis, etc.) and both non-alcoholic
and regular Champagne will be provided on every table for
a New Years Eve Toast. Tickets are now on sale at the
resort. They are $25.00 per person for the dinner and dance
or $15.00 per person if you are just going to attend the
dance. You can also make reservations by calling the office
and charge it on your credit card. Reservations must be
made by Wed. Dec. 24/08. Ticketsif available at the door
on the 31st have a $10.00 surcharge added. What a great
time to make resolutions together to make our club the best
that we are capable of doing. This is the extravaganza of
the year!
Sat. Jan. 17th
This is the first event of the year and were starting it off
with a bang by hosting a Meet & Greet event for all to
enjoy. We will post it on many websites and were counting
on word of mouth advertising also. We will be having a
Meet & Greet event EVERY month so you need to plan
to party at Riverside, especially on those dates. We will
be having a fish fry at 6:00 PM for $10.00 per person and the
dance will rock from 8:30 until ?. Dont forget there is
overnight rentals and its BYOB. Come on out for the
weekend to play and enjoy the party!
Sat. Jan. 31st & Sun. Feb. 1st
This is Super Bowl weekend and it is time for our annual
Chili cook-off. The judging of the chili entrees will take
place at 5:30 PM in the clubhouse with the potluck dinner
taking place immediately afterwards. There will be 3 categories
that you can win a prize. They are:
1. Most Creative
2. Spiciest
3. Best Overall
During the afternoon well ask for 5 judges to sample the
entrees and award the prizes. Remember, this is a potluck
dinner, so if you are not entering the cook-off, please bring
a dish to complement the chili. Come and enjoy chili,
homemade dishes and desserts. Last year we had 10 entrees
of chili, so lets see if we can beat that number. Afterwards
there will be a dance at 8:30 PM, so come on out and meet
friends and have some fun.
Sunday, is Super Bowl Party day. All weekend long you
will be able to purchase squares on the football game. The
party begins at 4:00 PM with the game starting around 6:00
PM. Everyone usually brings some finger foods to add to
the party table and the rest of the day is food, drinks, friends
& fun cheering on your favorite team.
This event covers the next 11 months. Yes, the Wee Bee
Bare Caf is now open for breakfast and lunch, every day
for the rest of the year. Dinner will be served when there is
planned events on Saturdays. Enjoy one of Junes Texas
size pancakes for breakfast or try and conquer a double
cheeseburger at lunchtime. We are proud of the fact that
were the ONLY nudist resort in Texas serving its customers
7 days a week for 48 weeks.
- Note: I would like to say that most of the resorts in the US don't have a full working cafe. The food is good and the prices are good. We happened to be lucky to have this available. If you visit, please take advantage of this opportunity! - Jerry
This is the special day to Love the one youre with. Make
it a special day for them by attending Riversides roast beef
dinner and Sweetheart Ball. The Wee Bee Bare Caf will
be serving roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetables,
rolls, salad, ice tea, lemonade and dessert for only $10.00
per person. THIS IS NOT A POTLUCK! You dont need
to bring anything because we do the whole dinner for you at
6:00 PM sharp! This is always a well attended fantastic
dinner so dont miss this one. Well begin the dance 1/2
hour earlier at 8:00 PM and there will be a gift for every
lady attending. Were sure you will enjoy this dance as it is
one of the best of the year.
