I do not feel it is right to objectify anyone. Unfortunately it occurs no matter how hard we try not too. We get angry or feel down or whatever emotion, and feel the need to take it out on something or someone...even ourselves. It doesn't make it right. I try to be mutually respectful, yet I sometimes make light of someone or, because I tend to be sarcastic at times, hurt people without realizing it. I tend to be more respectful while online as I can edit my comments, plus I have more time to think it all out and act right. I am still a good person in real life, but the filter sometimes fails and I speak before thinking it out fully.Any rebuttals?
No rebuttals from me. Thank you for sharing your opinion, I appreciate you.
Thanks for taking my advice and changing the title of this thread. I too enjoy reading the perspectives of others on a wide range of subjects. This is what I love about the Forum. Unfortunately we have to put up with a lot of trolls and bomb throwers. If we ignore them we can still have a very good discussion.

Hey DR, you're welcome. Me too. Yes we can. :)

Well this is the classic case of "opening your mouth to speak before you put your brain into gear" as we all do at times.Or your fingers to type... I'm quick to type when I'm angry (my wpm typing come out in full force and I'm able to type at top speeds, it's cathartic really, soothing to hear my speedy fingers tap out so quickly, releasing my anger through them) but fortunately am learning to reread and ponder before sending off... or listening or reading carefully, thoroughly, before speaking or sending because my brain tends to hear what it wants and not between the lines where the need often resides.
