Tattoo to hide scars

I have one scar on my back, would you advise to hide it by getting a tattoo? What are your thoughts?

I have both scars and tattoos, I say wear them all with pride...but hey definitely do whatever feels right for you, regardless of what others saySeeing that I like sunbathing perhaps that won't do much good to a tattoo

I had hip replacement surgery and some one suggested that I get a tattoo to cover it. I figure that my wife and I could spend a week at a nudist resort for what they want for one tattoo. When I'm not nude no one will see it any way so what's the use? I guess it's just where your values are.

Scars fade over time.I had hernia surgury 10 years ago and the scar is not very noticable any more.I guess scars fade more when they're out in the sun long enough
