please help
When you sit down to dinner with others are you expected to fart aloud?Discretion, and etiquette are the key. Simple common sense.I cannot help but think you are taking the p*ss however.
Must you be rude and vulgar? He asked a simple question.
I gave a polite and courteous reply directed at the original poster in a largely tongue in cheek manner. Since it was neither aimed at you nor critical of yourself in any way i would ask that you keep your ubiquitous smarm which proliferates this site for your qlique of effete backslappers and move along.....

The Scot may have been in the wrong with his 2nd post but he is spot-on with his first.
There are probably more threads covering this subject than any other, and yet we still get the same Q's from new members who are too lazy to read? Or is it just their Andy Warhol moment on TN?
Like the "Rules for posting in here", maybe we need a thread that stays at the top of the "Rules and Announcement" that contains the top ten questions and answers. My nominations are: Erections
Booted/banned from chat
Peeing in front of nudists
Sitting on towels
Body acceptance (Size, shape, scars, etc.)
I do not read most threads with these as topics. I don't know if people lack common sense or they just think its fun to shove a stick in a beehive.
Please add, modify or delete.

Seeing this made me think of a Steve Martin stand up routine where someone asks him, "Do you mind if I smoke?" "No," he says, "do you mind if I fart?"
Just thought I would share.
Stay Naked!
The answer (farting) wasn't rude, a bit condescending...and since when is there a rule/law that the new person with an actual question is expected to "look it up"? New to nudism...limited on forum "postings" didn't know they could look it up, I can see not looking it up.
"Therein lies my case Rene...it is the most discussed issue bar none on
these boards and apart from looking at previous threads on the topic as
you rightly state, my feeling is that if a degree of maturity or social
awareness had prevailed with those who ask such questions then we would
all be spared the repetitive numbing of the mind."
I think the last few are right...if this and other things are asked all the time..."we" should be able to pin the most common questions. Well...that and for the grumpier amongst us...why bitch about the question...don't like...change the channel. (to another thread)
