Any depilatory safe for genitals?

I've followed the threads on shaving below, and yes, I've used the Philips Bodygroom and it's ok, but man, I would really like to find a depilatory cream that's safe and easy to use. Does such a product exist?

I'd recommend proceeding with real caution. Test a small area before covering the whole area in cream and give it a day to see how your skin reacts. I've tried a few different brands but each time the result was similarly painful. Everyone is different of course but I've not found any that work for me. I've given up trying and stick with my razor now. Good luck

bornfree - be nice. I tried Veet as well and I let the hair grow in a bit...it did nothing for my balls but it was OK on the pubic. It was nice and smooth, but damn did I get ingrown hairs and I scrubbed and loofah after and still got them.

Thats the problem I get on my legs only. no where else do i get the ingrown hairs. wish I knew what to do. and no, I do not use a propane torch, or veet, or any wild crazy things. Just a clean sharp razor shaving with tons of water, and lotion.

Shaving is the easiest, waxing is not bad and lasts a bit longer. Like my uncle Erv used to say...chemical burns on your ball sack is not where ypu want to be !!

YUP had the chemical burn on my boys and damn did it hurt and bleed and all sort of horror :(
Gonna stick with the razor blade until the hair falls off naturally or science come up with a new and inproved manscaping system :)

Has anyone ever tried the NO-NO hair remover? it is that new "gadget" out there for around $300 cad, and I am curious as to how well it works.
If anyone can afford to buy one, try it out, and let the rest of us know, it be greatly appreciated.

Read the reviews for NO NO and it looks like a NO NO.

RE: Any depilatory safe for genitals?

I have used the NO NO hair remover. What happened was this:
My Mom told me about it since when I shave my face I get razor burn. She thought the NO NO could be an improvised razor that would lessen shaving. Instead of me shaving every day she thought maybe once a week I would shave my face. Being a QVC and HSN customer. There is the 30 day trial on products. The NO NO fell into the 30 day warranty to return to get full money back.
During the same time I used it to see if it did anything to pubic hair.
The NO NO actually has a so called "razor blade" attachment to it. This piece is actually this laser piece, it is removable to get new ones. I forgot the cost of the replacement laser heads but it is costly if you use it daily like me.
The NO NO for my skin type and hair type. I have white skin with black hair. My hair type is curly and oily. Certainly good testing ground for the NO NO.
Reading the directions to the NO NO from my memory is something like this:
Since it is a "powerful laser" it should be used like once every few days. The area such as the legs should be shaved first to show the actual hair stubble. Which helps the NO NO heat up the very small remaining hair follicles on the skin. Burning the stubble on the skin. Which means hair removal.
Hair on my pubic mound, the piece of flesh above the penis and below your waist line filled with hair. This is the area I used the NO NO on. I found it does heat up and it can get hot enough to where you actually see a small amount of smoke. That is the hair being burned down to nothing.
I found that the laser head itself does not actually touch the hair. Instead to make contact to my skin. I would stretch my skin taught then push down with the NO NO laser onto my skin to even get any results. My left hand holding skin taught the right forcefully pushing downwards onto the NO NO.
Now I see results, the smoking hair there is a burn it gives onto your skin. My best description for the burn type would be if you lit a wooden match. As the match is burning getting closer to your finger tips. Eventually you get that slight burn on the skin that does hurt.
The NO NO gives a burn but it is nothing that painful. It has to get hot to burn off the hair.
Also from the instructions it said to just go with 1 pass over the shaved skin. Yeah that won't work on pubic hair.
Again this is the NO NO laser on pubic hair located on my pubic mound. Not my legs.
I would just look down at my hair and see a bit of redness. Then still see my hair!
Another pass of the NO NO over and over again onto my pubic mound. Felt kind of stupid really going back and forth.
Spending easily 20 minutes using the NO NO on myself is completely against any safety with this laser. Though seeing my pubic hair still there makes me think "Just one more round of the NO NO to finally burn away the hair."
When you use the NO NO laser head enough times you actually will wear down the laser head itself. Requiring a new one. Think of it as a blade on a razor that is dull. Time to get a new laser attachment and they are not cheap at all.

Days go by using the NO NO laser on my pubic hair. I thought that something was wrong. Since I saw nothing happening a good 2 weeks into using it daily for about 20 to 30 minutes each time on my pubic hair. As well as my face. Giving the NO NO a good workout.
In fact I told my mother if she can get an even exchange on the NO NO since it did not seem strong enough. It turns out the laser head attachment can wear down until it is no longer working. It becomes "dull" this happened to me during 2 weeks. Maybe I got a NO NO that was not properly made. A mistake.
She called up QVC or HSN. It has been awhile now so I forgot which one it was. She sent back the NO NO I used for a second brand new one.
My NO NO #2 this time I knew how it worked. Simply opened it up , yes it has to be charged into the wall. Plug in the laser head onto it then use it.
Felt good that this time it was going to work on my pubic hair and my face. It was sad to have to literally press down the NO NO into my skin. See the little bit of smoke appear and the smell of burnt hair. The smell is bad enough to make a room stink just in case you use one.
Thinking that the laser head is now working properly. I would give it a good 20 minutes on my pubic mound every single day. Pubic hair is very strong hair. We grow pubic hair our whole life while losing the hair on our heads. Not sure why that happens!
NO NO's laser blade did actually stop working on the two week mark again for me. In theory I do believe the NO NO can work under one condition which I told my mom:
"If I had a bucket full of NO NO laser blades I could get hair removed, permanently from me!"
The cost alone of bucket of laser heads would easily be worth the cost of the NO NO plus extra NO NO units as well. It is super high.
NO NO comes with just 1 laser head when I used it. Supposed to last months and months. Yeah that turned out wrong.
The #2 NO NO was sent back to the company. My mother got a full return on the money for the machine. That whole "flex pay" to pay for the system. "Flex pay" means each month a certain installment payment is paid. Instead of the full upfront price. That is how I was able to use 2 NO NO systems.
The idea of the NO NO is great. I would say if a person has the right skin and hair type it works. Not for mine it didn't. A weak laser for my hair. Using it many times over the recommended use in the Instruction Manual. Certainly used that NO NO did not work on pubic hair.
As far as the other areas of pubic hair:
1. Pubic Mound --] Yes but no effect. 2. Scrotum hair --] No. Never tried. 3. Penis head hair --] No. The area of skin from my circumcision scar I do get hair there. 4. Crease of my thigh ---] No. 5. Perineum ---] No. 6. Butt crack ---] No. 7. Butt hole ---] No.
My thought process was simple:
Can the NO NO stop the growth of the pubic hair on my pubic mound? No it did not work. That is why it was replaced with a brand new one the NO NO #2. I know the strength of the laser. Trust me it is not THAT POWERFUL because it would have made at least some results for me.
Very easily I can grow all of my pubic hair. Just I shave myself every day. To keep myself all cleaned up. It would be as if I never shaved if I stopped shaving for a week then two weeks. Certainly 1 month without shaving and I would have a full growth of pubic hair. Again not my own preference but simply saying how my hair grows.
I think I do a pretty good job at shaving here is a photo of me all shaved:
