Just an idea...

I am pretty new here so it may not be my place to say but here it goes. I have read a lot of posts about the sexually based groups, swinger groups, people just looking to "hook up" and the ones who are here simply to harrass the ladies who come here because it is a friendly place to visit. I have a few ideas about weeding them out and thought I would throw them out here. First off if we require certification just to enter the site then someone new to the lifestyle may not be comfortable enough to do it and may feel like we are not the group for them. So thats not a possibility. Second,we have to find some way to keep these groups and people from posting here and offending the great people here and also to keep from giving newbies the wrong idea. I am no computer person by any means so the suggestions may not even be possible. I can type(slowly) and surf the web, thats all I know how to do with a computer. Is there a way to keep records for say 3 months on all new people to the site. After 3 months, 30 days, something like that allow them full access to the site. Maybe have an option on the pics for "approved" people. That sounds so much like trying to pick and choose people to be here and that is not what im getting at. Or maybe let anyone new have the option to be certified after 30 days or not have access to the rest of the site until they do. I would be willing to be on the "outside" of the site so that new people would actually have some interaction with others who could speak about the site, surely there are others here who would be willing to do that also. Once the trial period is up the true intentions of the new people would surely be clear. This seemed a whole lot less "private club" before I typed it down. Maybe even something as simple as any new member being approved on a 30 day trial basis by someone willing to be the "administrator" of that. All this seemed to make a lot more sense when I was thinking it through. Does anybody have an opinion on it?

With all due respect, not all nudists have nude pictures of themselves and not all people with "innocent" nude pictures are truly nudists. Imposing photo rules accomplishes nothing. I have enjoyed nude recreation outdoors with my wife, but neither of us took any pictures. It's just not part of our routine. Other people may have plenty of nude pictures dating from before they considered nudism seriously, but be neophytes in every other way.

I'm not sure "trial memberships" are the way to go either. Restricting access too much only leads to the impression that we're secretive and that we have something to hide or, worse, something exciting for those who come here for the wrong reasons. I think the current system is about as right as it can get, save for a few definite improvements which I've alluded to in other posts.

Im always ready to hear others input. Sometimes I can only see one side of an issue and other times I can see both sides and dont know which is right or wrong. I think it is great the way it is, thus the reason I chose this site over others. I was just thinking out loud about some ideas that seemed a lot better until I saw them in black and white. I was just trying to figure a way to ease some peoples minds without keeping new people out. I guess as long as we all put a little effort into keeping the site clean that is the best way to do it. Group effort.

I feel the controls here are great, would be hard to improve them. The only pic a non member can see is the small profile pic on your page. I feel that the pic I use would make it hard for someone who is just browsing from recognising me and it getting back to my job. You can designate your pics as friends only and/or certifiedonly. The copy protection on our pics makes it difficult to save someone else's pics.

Thank you for some refreshing new views on nudism and especially the certification process. I agree with some points and disagree with others. Thats what the Forum is all about. I must admit that when I was doing the Cert, I didnt mind holding up the sign while nude but felt it was strange that I had to get dressed then do it again. I soon realized that anyone with Photoshop or a similar program could easily swipe a suitable nude photo, then drop in the sign. Dropping the sign into the same subject, clothed, not impossible, but much more difficult.
As the site continues to grow, it may be necessary to restrict more areas to Certified True Nudists only, the chat room and to those starting new groups, for instance. This has been discussed, elsewhere.
Please keep those new ideas coming and understand that the following is not directed at you.
I certainly have no problem with newbies or the closet nudists. Its the newbies that will keep nudism alive and the closet nudists may come out into the social nudist setting and begin to enjoy nudism at its best.
I do, however, take exception to those, whose total exposure to the nudist life consists of wandering around in the back yard without their clothes constantly giving their expert advice on any subject, remotely or even not remotely related to the nudist life and this site. Some of us have been enjoying social nudism, approaching a half century and doing it without all the self styled expertise

many, Many, MANY suggestions have been made.
One or two, but not as many as three, have even been answered at some point in the distant past.
( or so it seems )
