Earthing

I have been doing a fair amount of reading on this subject of late.
something in the issue has hit a nerve, as it has so much to do with society's disconnect from the earth - our source of energy and healing.
The insulation from the earth with plastics etc cannot be good for us and as I read, it reminds me of possibly one reason I have felt so comfortable with naturism as providing reconnection with the earth.
Having said that, I am constantly surprised how many naturist clain to be textile ree and yet wear the one item of clothing that mostly disconnects them from the earth - footwear!
just wondered what others had experienced in regards to earthing?
have a good day

I spend so much time barefoot that my callouses are thick enough that I would rather stand barefoot on gravel than with shoes.

I have felt a connection to the earth for many years. I collect rocks because I feel that connection. I have tried the barefoot thing and while yes I love the connection, my feet are not toughened enough to be comfortable at all times in those regards. Last time I went to a nudist resort I tried to spend the whole time completely nude, including the barefoot thing. I had to watch where I walked but otherwise had a good time with it. People did look at me as strange though...guess they were curious as to why I went the whole monty as it were.

I too love the feeling of being bare foot but living in ironstone country its just is not that good on the poor feet. But directly and fully connecting to nature is one of the best feelings one can endure.
Total relaxation even when carrying out physical activities, like feeding the cows hay whilst totally barefoot all over.
Take care and enjoy being bare.

The soft ones are more easy on the feet than the rocks, but I find them more often when wearing shoes than when barefoot.
Also nothing a good wash down with the hose wont fix. (also doesn't smell as bad as dog or cat doo).

barefoot with the cows

Easier to hose off bare feet than to clean a pair of shoes

Might have hoped that a nudist environment would be the last place for such looks.though i do encounter that in textile environments. Just la few days ago,got a comment when walking textile and barefoot on a track in a national park. though the comment was more in the vein of "would if i could". Our feet are intended to be bare, they just need a little time to recover from being imprisoned in shoes for too long.
