Nude Yoga Topic on TV

I was channel surfing today, and the topic of a nude yoga studio, in New York City came up on 1 of the daytime talk shows. A picture from a class was shown with body parts blacked out. A statement from the studio was read. It said that it kept all participants on the same level. As opposed to checking out what kind of yoga clothing was being worn and how well or bad it was being worn. It went on to say, that there was no sexual touching allowed, and that if a male became aroused, that he shouldn't be embarrassed by it. ...Discussion time.... The studio audience did not respond favorably to the statement, but even more unfavorably to the whole premise of nude yoga. The panel was really grossed out by the whole idea. It became a big joke, that this could actually exist. What I took away from it is, that mainstream America hasn't progressed at all to the idea of nudism.

RE: Nude Yoga Topic on TV

Of course they took this attitude. Americans love to gang up on a minority view. We love being negative much more than being positive. If someone in the audience or on the panel supported nudity or just nude yoga, they would have been the subject of all of the jokes. Too scary so they just became silent or joined in.
