Moderating discussions in groups

As administrator of a group with many members I find from time to time some threads that I find inappropriate. But I have so far not found any possibility for the group creator/administrator to remove discussions.
I have dealt with the problem by contacting the person starting the discussion, but that's not a fully safe way. Tha person might not log in for a while or refuses to delete the thread. So far the persons I've contacted have followed my request, but as to some extent responsible for the group I need better moderating tool. Photos can be removed, but not discussions.
Any advice from other group admins?
I have tried to find a way to contact the webmaster of the site, but contact information through the site is not to be found!

Great suggestion. You should post it on the forum thread that is active right now about enhancements here: https://www.truenudists.com/forum/viewthread.php?id=58049&page=1
The primary owner is TeamTrue1. Send him a message. May take a few days but will get a reply.
Thanks for trying to run a good group! Which one is it?

I think it used to be that if you were an admin of the group, you could delete posts, threads etc. However the ability is not there any longer. Only the creator of the thread has the ability to delete. -
A very retrograde step in my opinion.
Why have admin rights if you are unable to administrate how your group is run?

Thanks for useful comment from John0001 and support from renebbare!
I will for sure write to Teamtrue1 and also try to find that other discussion.
I started the group Gay and Bi Male Nudists more than five years ago. It's now the third biggest group at TN when counting members, with over 3000 members.
