avoid sunburn
Hi everyone. I am still quite new to nudism and have mainly been a home nudist up until now. With summer approaching, I was wondering how you all protect your privates on nude beaches from sunburn? Do you just use regular sunscreen or have any recommendations on good products to use?

I would imagine the same sunscreen you use on the rest of your body. I personally don't use any, I'm lucky that way, I don't really burn. I hope you get lots of helpful suggestions.
I use regular sunblock, however I use it more generously on the parts the sun isn't normally exposed. Heavy coats on the butt cheeks and penis/balls, especially if your going to lay out in the sun.I learned from experience on that, I was swimming at a pool, and decided to lay out just to dry off, I was laying face down, and my butt was whiter than the rest of me and only took 10 minutes to burn. Just glad I was laying face down.Good luck and always protect yourself from cancer sun rays

I use equate(walmarts brand) spray on for most of my body. The parts that burn easily top of my bald head, shoulders, top of feet, and my wife's breast. We use nutrogena baby formula. According to consumer reports these are both good brands. The key is to apply 30minutes before going into direct sun, and reapply every couple of hours. Hope this helps
when I was younger I used to burn in minutes, but as I got older my exposure time got longer as the burning was less obvious.
Now I just work as I feel in the sun and only oil or clothes up if working for protracted bouts in the sun.
No matter how long I am in the sun, I still cant get rid of the white streaks on my sides and the inner side of the arms.
Mainly coz I don't lay out in the sun tanning except for a few minutes some mornings.
The advertising blurb here is Australia is Slip, Slop, Slap, which means Slip on a shirt, Slop on the sunscreen 30+, Slap on a hat. But more importantly shade the eyes with a good pair of UV rated sunglasses.
most friends who've never gone for the all-over tan are bothered about burning their bits - mostly it doesn't happen, the parts you need to make sure are covered are the soft skin at fold at top of your leg around the groin and most importantly your bum - every single friend who's tried nudism on the beach has burnt themselves there the first time and that's the most painful sunburn you can get [they are literally sick for days]
