the closest "resort " to us is about 150 miles , thankfully we have c/o hot springs much closer even tho we don't like the c/o part it beats nothing .not sure if we would even go to the only resort here in Colorado as we have heard its full of snobs so that only leaves us traveling out of state to get to a good resort and that is expensive
Take a look at the prices from Colorado's Mountain Air Ranch. A weekday grounds fee of $10. On weekends and holidays it goes up to $30. If you spend the entire week it's only $80 Hardly excessive!
DAILY GROUNDS FEES: Sat/Sun/Hol Mon-Fri Weekly
Per Individual (18 & over) $30 $10 $80
Holidays occurring on a Mon-Fri are charged at the weekend rate.
We all have our priorities and we budget for or ensure that money is there to do what it is we like to do. Visiting nude resorts is no exception. Just like budgeting for dues to organizations, clubs, groups ... money is spent where we want to spend it. We have 4 clubs all within 30 mins -2 hrs away and a nude beach 50 mins away. About an hour and 15 mins is Palm Springs with 3 resorts, one of them our favorite. One of the clubs, we are members of. We also belong to both Nat'l orgs. It's just something we budget for and it's a priority for us.
We like to visit other clubs and resorts besides our club and our favorite resort in Palm Springs but time seems to be the stumbling block. When we visit a club, we can stay longer because our money goes further and even further if we take the motorhome. If we stay in a upscale nude resort, our stay is shorter but we like to have variety in the places we visit. I am fortunate to have a wife that is not only a nudist but a great money manager. If I managed our money ... we'd be sitting out on the curb! hahaha
Here in Florida we have endless miles of beach with a lot of secluded spots that most of us here would like for them to be made available to nudist but out government doesn't see fit to open them up to nude.A section of the nude community can't seem to behave
properly when on a public beach which causes a lot of people to be against having a nude section of beach.
Post 41, you are correct. We all only have a certain amount of disposable funds, and we each spend as we see fit to bring us our own enjoyment. Knowing pricing up front, while we may not agree, we have a choice on how to spend.
Post 42, you are also correct. Too many people conflict nudity with sex and think one leads to the other. It could have been a few bad apples in the past or just their misinformation.
It is more expensive, if you don't count the 'day fee', the price is comparable to other resorts and campgrounds. But, you gotta pay the nude fee. Since we moved to the farm, we can run around nude for free. I like that.
