RE: Why...

Jeddysan, what the heck did you just say? On another note, I haven't seen what started this all. Was someone ignorant through their arrogance? I would love to see good taste taught in school. It seems some people really have no handle on it at all. People around me often say, yeah, he doesn't swear almost at all! And why should I? I have a decent vocabulary and I use it. I treat others with dignity because that is how I prefer to be treated. Good taste doesn't mean Jazz over Rock but good music over tripe. Quality over kitsch. I don't sport any black velvet paintings because they are not worth the fabric they're painted on. My taste in friends is fascinating people who can add to my appreciation of life while not judging me for my approach...which is never belligerance and rudeness simply because they add to no one's store of fond memories. Wow, was that rambling enough? Must be late!

RE: Why...

Some people would say that being naked in front of others is the height of bad taste. Hmmm. We know that isn't true but it just goes to show that different strokes...

There are occasional posts here on the forum which suggest that sexuality should be more openly embraced here on True Nudists. That inspired me to question what the rest of you think on why people like to test the boundaries of the rules here?

If they like sex that much, why not start an independent blog, away from this site? It's not that hard, as I've recently found out. I'm sure the True Nudists owner might have time to look into the many improvements to the site some of us suggest now and then if he only didn't have to spend so much time dealing with those who will not follow the Terms of Service.

Besides, it's not like nudists don't like sex. Like Linda and others often say, there's a time and a place, and this isn't it.

In a recent court case, a witness was even heardto have said "Those f*kin' f*kers f*ked me." And he was testifying in English in a case where testimony had to be interpreted into French for the benefit of the defendant. I marvelled at how the interpreter managed to capture both the meaning and the flavour. I don't know if I would have done as well.

So, how do our children learn to speak so badly? I think a great number of parents may have to look into the mirror to find the answer.
I've heard it referred to as "the universal adjective."

RE: Why...

By the way , I have read in some psychology book once that the human being has several stages of maturity
One of them, being in a very young age all auto-concentrated (the "ME" stage)
Can it be that time has changed and we (as a race) have stopped our development in that stage?

Methinks not !
Society these days, DEMANDS that kids grow up FAST, especially sexually.
OK, while they spend their energy "growing up" and maturing sexually, becoming obsessed with the size of certain body parts, how much fat, and all that rot, does this not take away from being able to mature in other, more normal ways ?
I submit that development hasn't stopped in the "me" stage, but that the development that would have / should have taken place in that section of the brain has been diverted to obsession with the size of their ass, so that when hormonal and physical maturity does occur, the mental maturity has been wasted on body image issues that just aren't important to nudists.
Further, that having grown up in the very liberal "ask not what you can do for your country, but ask what your country can do for you" age of entitlement these "people" have been conditioned more, and more, and more, that it's all about "me" even if deep in their hearts they really do know better.
To not know better is to be a sociopath, and I'm not convinced that the mis-lead are all sociopaths.
I'll come back to my first post in this thread ( #2 for those interested ) that it's not arrested development as far as maturity, but misunderstanding of the boundaries, perhaps agravated by mid-development as a victim of the society at large.
Yes, I DO blame the parents ! It was their responsibility ( and an awsome responsibility it is ) to guide along the right path.
Too many have failed to do just that.

You have some really interesting insights, Curt. I might add that some of the ruder discussions we have seen on this forum might come solely from boredom. Some people, lacking anything better to do, might see this kind of forum as a safe place to stir the pot, sowing the seeds of dissension for their own twisted form of amusement. Does anyone else think this might be true?
