Not about, not following the rules - the younger generation is looking for more than 'connectivity' at their club - sadly they don't seem to have the funds to pay for it.
If members visit us, there is no daily grounds fee. We have WiFi all over public areas. If we were across the street, we couldn't get it. AT&T, even though the tower is only a mile from us, doesn't have reception here because the tower isn't in the right direction. Verizon gets it. That and U-verse, we're fine.

My wifi devices are my iPhone and my iPad and my wife's laptop. All three have cameras on them, so these three locations are by default loosening their bans on cameras. I do have a case for my iPad with the rear camera hole covered with duct tape, so that others won't feel threatened by the camera. But I haven't gotten any comments, even from people far enough away that they wouldn't notice the taped-over camera lens.

nounnoun: connectivity
- Computing capacity for the interconnection of platforms, systems, and applications."connectivity between Sun and Mac platforms"
- WTF?????----
Pay for what?
Internet connectivity, the means by which individual terminals, computers, mobile devices, and local area networks connect to the global Internet
And some are moreconnected than others Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc and all of these in realtime. Our youth and many of us 'oldsters' areconnected to our net identities much of the day.
And in the future we will be furtherconnected by the Net.
Thanks renebare ... I understand what you're saying ... BUT ... to me and many others, it really makes no sense at all when you're concerned about your picture being taken and used on certain sites but you willingly post pictures of yourself and have a perception that it's "safe." Nothing is safe on the net, we know that or we all should. You're more apt to be seen on the net than you are at a nude resort or a porn site. With ALL these people on here, how can you feel safer than you would at a resort or beach? It just seems a bit contradictory to be open on a site that has so many questionable people as "members" and feel you, your pictures and information are safe. Just my thoughts ... anyway. Thanks for you input and explanation. :-)
A question for you, do you think use of camera phones etc will increase, decrease or make no change to the chances of inadvertent/purposely published photos appearing on the Net?
As for safety? As I said, I try to hide in the crowd. And yes anyone looking can find me in the 'nudist net' - but you have to go looking.I suspect that writing here, raises my profile, and in the long run erodes my anonymity, but that is a choice I make to further nudist moderacy and ideals. Tks
I love my phone as much as the next person, and i have never been to a resort/beach/clothes optional area before...but i can definitely understand the reason for said bans. Just about every phone made these days have cameras, and most have internet access. These things in the hands on someone with less than noble intentions could reek havoc in a group. This could potentially even cause legal trouble for attendees, and the park/lodge/etc itself. They are just trying to protect themselves, and the legitimate attendees.
