Hey guys!

Hey guys! I'm a brand new just out of the box nudist. I'm 26 year old male fron Nottingham UK. Over the past few weeks I've come to realise that I dislike the confines of clothes. I guess you can say that my journey began a few months back when I decided to start wearing linen trousers to work, I was finding the poly blend uniform so restrictive and not allowing my legs to breath properly. Fast foward to last week and I overcame my fist hurdle and went topless on a beach. This may not sound much but a year ago I was so self conscious about my slightly bigger build that would never have dreamed of it. Now I have to take the next steps to being free :)

Congratulations, sometimes it takes baby steps. Now try going commando under your pants for a short time. Be a little daring and challenge yourself a bit. You will find that the nudist environment is not expecting beach bodies on everyone and should be accepting of everyone regardless of size or what we consider flaws.

Thanks for the advice! I might just do as you've suggested :)

Baby Steps, going commando for a short time, shirtless for a little longer, commando and shirtless, commando and baggy shorts, commando and shorts undone, commando and shorts opened up, commando and shorts eased down a bit. We all have a different comfort level with our bodies and some have to fight within ourselves to take it to the next level.

Treat it like a band-aid: one pull RIGHT OFF. It's shocking at first, and you feel vulnerable, but the enjoyment and peace you'll get from it are far greater than any initial discomfort. Anytime I feel ugly, fat, or depressed, I force myself out onto the balcony sans clothes and meditate in blowing wind no matter who sees me (and if they don't like it, they probably should stop looking at me).
My nude buddies are on the same page with this. When we have a nude night - like we're doing tonight, the host decides when clothes come off (in case someone is over that isn't quite feeling it - and we let him leave first), and as soon as he says so, we're all bare-assed despite how shy we might be.
Once you get past that first hesitation, its all better ;) Always remember that this, this nude you, is your true self.

There is no right or wrong, but i would tend to think that for most jontheginger has the right answer. Bit by bit can actually make it harder.
