I don't think that the moderators understand that being gay. we have to sometimes live by a different set of rules. It's not as easy as being heterosexual.there is still a lot of discrimination out there and I feel like this is one of those ways.it's always nice to go into the chat room and meet other people in my situation that also share being a nudist
Exactly why simply asking if there are other gay men online (or any other interest) is totally acceptable. Please mods, be more respectful.
No woman would ever have been booted for asking are there any "divorced gay women with children who would like to chat."

John, I would not bet on the fact that a woman who said that would not be removed. I'm sure you know many Parents, both married ones and single ones. One thing that parents I have know have in common, is they are protective of the kids. Any web site on the web that like ours, that is for nudist, attracts some not so nice people. While we do our best to keep them out, or remove them when found, they are here. Anyone with even a little knowledge of chat rooms knows this well. What real parent would , on an opening statement, make a comment like that? A statement like that would raise more then a few eye brows.
Then again one could believe that someone who is chumming the water in not really chumming for sharks, but merely adding color to the water.

AS TO Ruhl9.....well by reading his last comments you can take a wild guess as to his behavior in the room. He has no clue as to who the mod that warned him was, where he gets his names from is when you get removed a list of mods apparently shows up, since I am at the top of that list, he doesn't ask.

First, thanks for all you do to help this site stay as good as possible. I appreciate your contribution. Thanks also for responding to this thread as silence leaves an empty feeling in us members. That said, please just consider an other point of view.
It is clear that there are lots of creeps and trolls and that sex is most definitely the motive of those. However, just being gay is not a reason to be assumed a troll. In my view (respectfully submitted), a gay man asking if there are any other gay men online is simply a matter of looking for other human beings with similar background and interest. I completely understand that it "could" be unwelcome participation here but unless there was other reasons, it should not be considered a reason to boot. I agree, if this person is repeatedly asking or has a history or any other good reasons to want to curtail their participation, then by all means, boot.
Personally, I find the pictures on the landing page much less "naturist" than someone seeking a person that they prefer to get acquainted. The landing page also promotes "See 10,000 pictures of Nudists." What exactly are we promoting? I understand it is a business and revenues are needed to make this worthwhile and sustainable but it is hypocritical just a little to promote "seeing pictures" and then boot someone simply for being gay.
Finally, benefit of the doubt and common courtesy is always proper. By that I mean there must be more evidence/behavior before we assume the worst. A simple PM to the offender is an appropriate first step.
So thanks again. Let's all be nice and accept one another. We're nude after all.

I read your 1st post about the Yahoo group you had started. It is not only against the rules in Terms Of Service, it was downright creepy! Furthermore, I too read where Bunny gave you a friendly, member warning about having links to other sites. It was there for all members to see. As for your post after post after post on here, about how you are a victim..It's getting quite old. Time to move on!
I was banned for asking if there were bearded mature men in the chat room. I didn't like it but I won't be asking any such question again. Perhaps, it would be only fair to not be allowed to ask for anything you are interested in, in the chat room.
I have to admit I never have been in the chat rooms until tonight. I haven't been banned but seemingly my camera wasn't catching my whole face, I must have moved in the chair or something. I didn't actually have my screen up showing what others could see so wasn't aware of this. Anyway, I get a really abrupt message: 'Face on cam' - I got my screen up and noticed it was only showing from my chin down so I adjusted it. Only to get another message straight away: 'Read the rules'Now, I'm not complaining that I should be able to go on these chat rooms and not show my face - look at my pics - loads of them with face clearly showing - but it's the obnoxious schoolmaster way these moderators obviously act! Had a message came up saying: 'Face on cam please' and left it at that then OK but the condescending follow up message was completely uncalled for. It is true what they say: give a man a position or a uniform and watch him turn into a dictator! Reading this forum I can understand why people would get upset and angry. I certainly am not going to bother going back into the chat rooms - it's not really a thing that interests me anyway but a friend had said he was in it and to join in - never again!

Trolling? Was this person staring any argument? Upsetting people by his asking to chat with other gay members? Seems a bit steep to kick him from the room unless he was continually asking without getting any replies.
