Serious questions

I've been to a few nudist events recently and I couldn't help but noticed I was the only black person there. Then, afterwards I was asked why more black people didn't come out to nude events. Since I just started coming I really wasn't in the position to answer. I was curious to what you'll all think. Are black nudist rare? If so, why?

RE: Serious questions

No, we are not rare. I have belonged to several groups compiled mainly of African Americans, one here in Chicago was even affiliated with the American Association of Nude Recreation (AANR). There are several black nudist Facebook groups that exist. I find that we appear at private events or just home nudists. In It sometimes takes awhile to locate them. It is forums like this and FB that will allow you meet other nudists/naturists in your area.

Nuh I don't think its "rare" however I do think in the black community overall it's still looked as taboo or freaky. That being said tho I was p,easy toy surprised going to sandy hook this year, after having not been in years. There were many people of colour all over the beach.

RE: Serious questions

I don't know the answer to that anymore. In the past, I would provide my FB account to allow members from TN to connect with me, then invite them into the groups. On a couple of occasions recently, TN members have gotten into a secret group and then reported the group or have represented themselves using other's pictures. if they were reporting the group for inappropriate behavior, maybe I could understand. But these groups that I added them to discourage sexual images. Luckily, I did not add them to all of the groups. If we have been chatting on this site for awhile then I will feel somewhat comfortable in extending the invite.

RE: Serious questions

I attended nudist events in England, and I was one of two-three people from the ethnic minorities who attended. I even tried to start a TN group to motivate more people to attend, but that did not go far.How did you motivate them? How many did you manage to reach out to?

RE: Serious questions

Hello,
I live near Asbury Park and love going to Gunnison Beach. I work on weekends but get off at 3 PM on Saturdays. So if you like to go together so we can get acquainted. We can talk about your idea you mentioned here. I would love to be part of a small group of naked men.Wayne
