Members of this group would ask for fellow nudists to show FullNude Pictures and to be certified. From a practical point of view I think it is just silly not be open in our nudity. But I have no reason to hide - I'm retired and everyone around me knows I'm a nudist. BUT I looked up some figures the other day. The website has 218720 members, of which only 48137 (22%) have any photos in their profiles and only 12029 (5%) are certified. So, if we shun those without, we are shunning the vast majority of TrueNudist members. Oh and only 11294 of those with photos (23%) are also certified.
This is my Certifying photo:
And here is a recent one. How things have changed:
Allow me to be the first to disagree, although Nikwax touched on it. There are many reasons where it would be unwise if not dangerous to show your full naked body. One has to recognise that www stands for World Wide Web and that the vast majority of countries of the World have laws against nudism and where depiction of the nude body is treated as pornography. Sanctions against pornography include life (Iran) and death (Afghanistan, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Somalia). There are also certain occupations where it would be unwise to reveal that you are a nudist, including law enforcement, teaching, etc. Whilst I am in total agreement with all previous contributions, unfortunately the World is not yet the ideal world we wish it would be.
I disagree with you, and here's why. Those countries you mention also either do not have an Internet infrastruture, or if they do, they monitor everyone closely. For such people, even visiting this site would be criminal, much less worrying about posting photos. So that isn't the target audience of this or any other nudist site. The free western world is. And in those places, nude photos just shouldn't be an issue at this point. Hell, there were nude photos being taken of guys in the military even in the 40,s, 50's and '60's. When did we all become so prudish?
