Dodged a bullet on Thursday Night Football
The NY Jets always play the Patriots tough, it's a game I always enjoy watching because it's usually going to be close. Last night was no different. If the Jets hadn't shot themselves in the foot on several plays the outcome would have been different; but a win is a win, especially against a division rival.
In spite of the loss, the Jets played a good game. Smith looked much better - probably his best performance so far. Their running game looked good last night. They made a few errors and got some bad breaks which cost them the game, but they did play much better. The Pats played well enough to win, but did not look like the dominating team of previous seasons. The Brady-Gronkowski combo looked awesome though. That game made we wish I was inLas Vegas - would have taken the Jets and the points and won.
