You know I just got out of chat, and it was dead. Another day, it might have been full to over brimming. I'm of a mind....leave the cams off, and see who stays. I believe way too many people are coming here for the sole purpose as to be able to look at naked people. Prove me wrong.......leave the cams off. Who's here for friendship and who's here for other reasons? Anyhow, just my thought.
I finally went back to chat, and it was dead. But then it is always slower in chat this time of day. I personally miss the cams, there are people who I watch when they are there, not because they are nude, but because I like to see their response to something I say.
And I've found that the whiner-flagger-blockers are extremely unhappy people who generally complain about everything, voyeurs who like to perv on others, or hypocrites who complain about others in order to distract attention from their own misbehavior.My suggestion? I suggest that everyone act like an adult, mind his or her own business, and take responsibility for their own choices and how they affect others, especially choices that create a negative atmosphere in the chatroom. You bitchers and moaners make things just as unpleasant for those of us who play by the rules as for those who don't play by the rules. I suggest you go somewhere else to complain.

Legerdemain, you might want to avoid me like the plague if you see me in chat...I am proud to say that I am numbered as one of the "chatroom nazi's" because I don't put up with those who are breaking the TOS. However, I am neither a bitcher, moaner nor complainer. I give the wankers and pervs fair warning and then I flag them if they continue to break TOS. If they're on cam masturbating...I report them directly to abuse with a video clip of their behavior. I find nothing negative in that ...as it is POSITIVE ACTION to keep the creeps out of chat.
Unhappy? Not in the least...99% of the people who view my cam, compliment me on my smile or tell me that they love watching my cam because I'm ALWAYS smiling or laughing.
I, for one, am looking forward to the new chat platform WITHOUT ads as my computer has picked up far to many viruses from the ads and it will be interesting to see if a few known "perv" users disappear while the cams are out of commission. And if they're not I'll continue to warn, flag and report for abuse. Get used to it Legerdemain...we've been on the site for one and a half years and aren't letting a few pervs scare us away or over run the chat room.

I tried the chat yesterday for the first time. If that is dead then I don't want to know what it is normally like. My message box was overloaded within minutes andfriends requests came in faster than I could keep up. Most of the conversation seemed to be people saying hi.I like this type of conversation better (here in the forum). I can read an intelligent conversation and then reply when it is convenient. Maybe it's just me but it feels like it is a better use of my time even if I am still wasting time.
I agree with Linda - the chat room is filled with much chatter and little conversation. Still, it can be nice to touch base with online friends, just to know they are doing well (or not).
I do have one pet peeve with some of the posters above - the use of the word "perv". People who engage in common sexual activities, even if they do it on cam, are not perverted. Granted they may be rule breakers, but they are not perverted. Just my opinion.

Jen, that is excellent. That was my sentiment when I sawLegerdemain's post the first time. We should not let inappropriate conduct take over the chat room. Occasionally I have called to task those who violate the rules. If it's the rule, then my rump is covered (figuratively speaking).
BTW I too compliment you on your smile and being jovial in the chat room. You are good natured.
For curiosity, I just went into the chat room for about 5 minutes, to find out whether it is dead. This was around 7:30 PM New Jersey time (Eastern Standard time). The number in there varied from 12 to 15. IMHO it was dead. One comment was to the effect that this is like the good old times when you could follow a conversation.
I miss the cams. While it may have driven the wankers off, I am sure it also drove the good behaviored people off. I like to see who I am talking to.

I also am one of the "chat room nazi's) and DAMN PROUD of it! I totally agree with everything you had to say Jen. I along with many other decent people on this site will continue to do all within my powers to ensure that TN remains the wholesome site that it is.
Well said Jen and Jackie, and you are two of the people I refered to in an earlier post about loving to see you laugh when I say something silly. It has been a pleasant year and a half since I met you and hope to continue chatting with you. I also feel strongly about keeping this a wholesome nudist site and will continue to work to that end.

LOL Linda, it has been 10 - 15 in the room the times I have checked since I got computer fixed. About a week ago there were between 55 and 65 there on a regular basis. It does get hard to keep up when there are that many users in the room.
