Oook so I friended myself? Twice? o_O

A day or two ago, I stumbled upon the option to friend myself somehow, so I tried to out of curiosity. I was just cleaning my friends list from the "last login 297356 bajillion weeks ago" and noticed I am in my friend list twice?
Is anyone else willing to try to friend themselves to see if they become double self-friends? Or something?
Also what's with time travelers here? I asked a friend to try to friend himself, and while I checked through his friends I saw this:

ianlouise2

Couple | 44 & 40 | Certified
Befriended Nov 8000

I guess that means there's hope for the future. :)

*Edit: I successfully unfriended myself! And by searching for myself I could re-friend myself, so now I'm double self friend.
