Chatty people...
Am I the only one on this site that gets a little frustrated when trying to get to know a new nudist male or female, writing to them , trying to start a conversation or friendship and are met with 1 or 2 word answers... Of any reply at all. It drives me crazy! I like a chat and am a peaceful guy, not a perv... I just try to make some new friends on here from time to time but I'm guessing maybe 70% + won't respond or will reply in a yes,no,thanks,not sure,maybe, same etc etc. That's not a conversation guys... Thanks just blunt answers to questions or comments that I have given you. If someone was to read any of these messages without knowing the previous message, you would have no idea what they were talking about.... Please guys (you know who you are... Probably similar people to spend their lives texting on their phones) if you are writing a message to anyone... Finish, take out of context, read, does it make sense? No? then start again or don't even bother sending please.Thanks for reading my rant guys!Peace
You are not alone in your assessment of "chat". Unfortunately, there are those who choose to demean the term for purposes of self satisfaction. Other readers, you are open to interpreting the second sentence in whatever manner you choose. Single word responses could represent a totallack of interest in chatting, however; a few well chosen words would or could be better and more polite. Aside from that, it would bea welcome relief, for me and hopefully others, to see complete sentences grammatically phrased with correct spelling. Is it asking too much to be polite and to be thorough in your communication? I think not.
Have you considered that they are functionally illiterate? So many of the posts are so poorly written they require re-reading in order to determine the writer's intent. Sometimes in the chatroom I actually laugh at how poorly some people express themselves. It is particularly sad when English is not someone's second or third language, but their first.
Seriously? Take a good look at the people you are talking about. Most likely they are very young (shame on you) or are just fakes from another country with limited English. Pick your friends more carefully and you might have a better experience.

I feel it all stems from the initiation of text messaging using mobile phones. Every thing is abbreviated and sparse in words to save typing and money as long winded text cost more if the character limit is reached,
For my penny's worth, it frustrates me when you try and discuss a topic and the responses you receive back are, one liners or one word. Almost like talking to a dumb computer.
Similarly I can't stand the one liner topics that are so prevalent on this site, to the extent I rarely read them.
And from the posts below you can see Thomas needs to get a life. We don't need your constant harassment and trivial posts on here Thomas.

There is also the possibility that they are being cautious; perhaps overly so, about chatting with a new person and are limiting what they say until they see what the person is all about, what they want (real chat or sexy time). They may have been burned in the past and are just being wary.
