RE: Restricting viewing to photos

Since, most if not all, of my friends and neighbors already know of my nudist activities, the photos in my profile are without restriction. I guess that I am in the fortunate position of not caring who might see them.
The truth is that since they dont know of my membership in TN or my screen name, they would have an almost impossible task were they to actively search for those photos

RE: Restricting viewing to photos

When I was employed I would definitely haverestrictedviewing of nude photos to certified true nudists due to concerns related to employment matters. Now that I am retired I no longer have that problem. To date I have only uploaded one photo other than my required ones to become certified but if I do I will probably not restrict viewing as we are after all a nudist site. I think this is a factor which each of us must decide for ourselves based on our own personal issues.

I spose there are some people about who surf these sites, just to have a wabk over the pics.

RE: Restricting viewing to photos

I can't understand the people who join a site such as this for the purpose of viewing pictures only. There are thousands of sites which show pictures designed to appeal to prurient interests which would be more appropriate for them than pictures of real nudists. I have found some so-called nudist sites which contain or lead to porn or semi-porn. I never return to them and if that were myinterestI would never return to a true nudist oriented site such as this.

I'm guessing a lot of people are more turned on by the "real" people, the kind that aren't some kind of photoshopped, surgery enhanced fantasy. Frankly, I would be in that category in regards to my libido. Lot of people prefer reality over fantasy. That being said, there is a time and a place for everything, or perhaps I should say, a time and a site.
True Words.
though I rather stick to Elizabeth Harley as long as it regards fantasy
(well , both her and me know there is no chance for reality )

and what if my pastor is a nudist?
kidding.

Not to kid. Sometimes one's pastor is a nudist ...in which case the person in question might have his or her own reasons (personal, professional) for restrictions to whatone maysee.

Answering kind of late, but reinforcing this...one of my best friends at our resort is a retired minister of a very large church.

RE: Restricting viewing to photos

It's common to restrict photo viewing to certified members only (the True Nudists option). As for accidental discovery, several considerations make it improbable. (...) In view of those factors, your pastor or boss accidentally discovering your sunclad body here is a non-issue. It's not impossible, but it's highly unlikely. It is of course the member's choice as to how to restrict access to the pics.
I tried a search for NudeInMa on Google. Your profile came to the top of the list. I then clicked on "Images". I saw everyone, including myself, Linda, Cheri and many more.

Nope, there's no hiding!
yes but thats couse you searched his nic.
if you knew his name and searched by that i doubt it...

I agree. I'm just wondering if I should take the profile pic I have here away from some of my other sites. My username and real name may not be the same, but anyone with sufficient eyesight to read print on a computer could probably put two and two together when comparing pics.

RE: Restricting viewing to photos

I just tried a google search on my own user name, and the results were shocking!
Not only do my photos come up, but also every post I have made in the forums...seems that google has found a way around having to be a member to view profiles.....there is no place to hide from the all powerful google search!
Any other members of this site are just as vulnerable to a random search, and a request for any info on me also opens up any other member to scrutiny! Maybe there should be a little tightening up on access to this site....only logged in members maybe?
While I am retired now and have few concerns over who sees my pictures, it could be very uncomfortable for some members...
