Orlando - Any ideas for nude beaches?

Will be visiting Orlando first week of Feb. Any nude beaches nearby? Can I get there without renting a car?

Being Orlando is in the middle of the state, the closest beach is an hours drive to Playalinda beach. Your closest resort is Cypress Cove. Its about 40 minutes south of Disney.

I highly recommend Cypress Cove. Call them in advance that you would like to visit. Enjoy.

You should check the Cypress Cove website. On our first trip, it was considered an introductory tour and so our visit was free.

Getting back to what the OP requested, we strongly recommend Apollo Beach. Just south of Playalinda, and not as crowded. We've watched Dolphins just off shore, warm water, lots of collectable shells. Lovely place. Better than any resort.FLORIDA NUDE BEACH LINKApollo is NORTH of Playalinda. It is just south of Daytona Beach. Botha are part of the Canaveral National Seashore with Apollo being at the extrem north end and Playalinda at the south end butted right up against the launch pads of the Kennedy Space Center, You'll like either one but we like Playalinda best.

Technically there is a beach at Cypress Cove... It's only about 20-30' wide and 10-15' deep, but it is a beach! Great for watching the alligators in the lake.

Thanks guys. After checking out websites and looking at the map, if we do anything it will probably be Cypress Cove. But with only 4 days and two kids 8 & 10 I don't know I can pull them away from Disney for a side excursion.

[]Our friends from Deland say its the other way around. Apollo beach so named because it's closest to Canaveral. Apollo beach is a part of Playalinda seashore. They need to get their bearings straight. Playalinda Beach borders the launch pads. While Apollo IS a part of the national seashore, it is at the extreme northt end of the park.
There's this nifty thing called Google Maps that makes it clear.

If you are trying to locate playalinda on google maps, you may be seeing the road and beaches. The road runs out to the beaches through Titusville. Across the A Max Brewer bridge over the river and out to the National Park. It is a small thin beachline along the ocean.
