Barefoot at the spa
I enjoy going to Spa World. The Korean bathhouse in the locker room is the best. But I also like putting on the uniform they give everyone to wear outside of the locker rooms and walking around the spa barefoot. There are not to many restaurants that welcome barefooters. But the restaurant inside this spa does. The best part is that the floor is heated to help encourage everyone to go barefoot. There is a large open day area that the floor is heated also. Many sleep on it. It feel so good on my feet. Love to be able to eat at a restaurant barefooted.Does anyone else have a good barefoot experience at a spa?
Billy. Just prefer barefoot whenever possible but we don't have anything of similar size to spa world unfortunately. We do however enjoy some coastal restaurants where barefoot is accepted and in some cases encouraged. Unfortunately none of those are clothing optional.
Billy! Didn't know you were into barefooting too. Cool.
I do enjoy being barefoot all day at Spaworld, and have similar experiences in New Mexico, particularly at Ojo Caliente.
That said, I also go barefoot in many restaurants in DC. It's just a matter of being assertive and knowing where to try. We should do that together sometime.
At restaurants where shoes are required I wear flip flops many times. I just sit down and slip them off. I then enjoy my bare feet touching the floor. I have had no one ever say anything to me. When I leave I just slip them back one and walk out.

Billy, you'll find that if you leave the flip-flops at home, you'll usually be OK! Even in restaurants, people tend to either not notice or not care. Life's too short to let the Man keep you down!
Sorry man, but not able to go to Spa World any time in March. I would love to meet you. I did get to meet Justgonaked in January. I would leave my shoes at home and go into a restaurant barefooted but my wife yells at me for just taking my flip flops off under the table. She thinks the restaurant is going to be shut down if I do not put my shoes back on. LOL I do put them on only when I am about to leave.I was the only person I saw today out shopping with flip flops on since there are still snow on the ground but the temperature was a warm 28-30 degrees Fahrenheit. Like to cold air on my feet today.
