Anyone else have birth defects / deformities?

So I'm interested in getting into nudism but am hesitant due to several birth defects / physical deformities .There for I was wondering if anyone on here has any and has if ever been a issue with the nudist life style for you?

I have a hernia which is not yet repaired so it shows. I've seen all kinds of scars on people at events, nudism is supposed to be all accepting.

Well I have a port wine stain birthmark,
that covers myright arm and shoulder, part of my back and some on my right leg.
One concern for many first time nudists is that they will be stared at.
I never had that concern just because I have been stared at all my life LOL.

One of the many thing my parents got right raising me was saying, That anyone who has a problem with your
birthmark, Thats there problem and not yours.
Body acceptances is part of being a nudist yours and of others.
Beit short tall thick or thin, young old or born different .

I know a lovely lady that lives at a resort that had a single mastectomy with no reconstructive surgery. She considers it just a part of her history, part of her story. She is well respected, excepted and loved. Pretty inspiring.

I will relate a Dear Abby from years ago. A woman wrote in saying that her husband wanted to go to nude beach but that she wasreluctant to because she had had a breast removed. Abby's response was " ask your husband if he would go if he only had one ball"I had to chuckle. As a uniballer ( guy born with only one testicle ) I had just gotten back from a week at a nude beach in Negrilwhere only having one ball never stopped me from baring all. Plus I had chatted for a long time with a woman who had a missing breast and did not notice it until she brought it up. Bottom line none of us are prefect, and one of nudism major tenets is to accept all no matter what their bare body looks like.

Truly making me feel much better about things :)Now if I could just find some where to go that allows it.Only nudist place I've found locally limits single males admittance .

WE have physically handicapped members attend our swim nights less hassle for them having to change clothes to go swimming and then change to go home.
They were always welcome as part of our nudist fraternity. So take it in your stride and enjoy the lifestyle.

No one is perfect yet we are all perfect in our own little ways. Don't let any of that get you down for all those little things are what make you unique and what makes who and what you are. If you sit down on a corner at a nudist venue and watch everyone go by for an hour as I have done, you will come to realize that you are perfect just the way you are. Live life to the fullest and what ever you do make sure is in the nude :-) Hawk

A buddy of mine, had a colostomy and used to put his baseball cap over the bag. If someone asked why his cap was there he told them, but most didn't ask or question why he would end up with a tan line there.
