Why would anyone join a site called truenudists if you didn't want other people to see you nude? Kind of strange to join a nudist club and show up for a weekend BBQ and be the only person wearing clothes. I'm new here, am I missing something?
I'm with you 100% it's like a vegan going to a BBQ und only eating the salad, why go to the BBQ IF you're NOT going to eat the meat?
Why join a nudist website und NOT post nude pictures of yourself? WHY worry about who sees you?

It could well be that they are interested in nudism but not yet ready to take part and want to find out more.
As far as a vegetarian attending a barbecue, there are plenty of vegetable things that one cooks on a barbecue. I am not a vegetarian but one of my favourite barbecued foods is goat's cheese on mushrooms.
I have been at plenty of barbecues where there have been two cooking surfaces - one for vegetarian and vegan foods and the other for carnivores and that was quite a normal thing.
A vegetation might also be attending the barbecue event for the sake of the event and the people and not just for the salads which, if my wife's efforts are typical are almost more attractive to everybody than the meat.

To discuss topics that pertain to nudism, of course, and to connect with others around the country and the world.
The question is: if I'm posting pictures of myself, who am I doing it for? I'm not here to show my gorgeous body for the admiration of the many. I don't need that sort of validation.
On a more serious note, there are people on this site whose careers would be threatened if nude pictures of them ever got out... ministers, schoolteachers, people with security clearances. And we'd be fools to think that this is a private site, and that pictures never, never end up on the World Wide Web as common property.

In my case the pictures I post on pure nudist sites are either to show the different things that I have done naked or to illustrate a point that I wish to make in a post.
No picture here because it's not relevant.
My body will win no awards, but I have come by this look honestly. I've had a decent life, with lots of bumps and bruises along the way. I don't post a lot of photos because I'm simply a nudist, not an exhibitionist. I have no problem with anyone posting their own photos, I guess I am a bit of a voyeur. Overall, I'm simply human.
