Why?

Ok, Thank you all for your feed back to my question. I can understand why some people would not want their picture on their profile, if it is a legitimate reason, but why join a site where everyone else is nude at all? Apparently there a lot of fake profiles out there, probably some with pics as well I know, but I personally don't want to take that chance and respond to a member who isn't even willing to show their face let alone a nude shot. Am I missing something here? I almost understand, but not completely. What's everyone else think?

RE: Why?

Your post reminds me of my suspicion of people in nudist chat rooms who will not use their cam.I'm not bothered about seeing their genitals or even a totally clear face. Only to verify thet the person is somewhat similar to what they claim to be.

RE: Why?

Perhaps a better question to ask is why waste time on stuff like this. If you aren't comfortable unless you can verify someone as really being a nudist then focus on the ones who are verifiable and ignore those that you can't verify. Life is too short to spend it pissing into the wind.

RE: Why?

I agree with the above comments. I like to think that people here I message and chat with are also nudists, nude photos definitely help on that but I understand why not everyone openly shares their full nude photos. I don't worry about people finding out I'm a nudist or seeing me nude, I like being naked too much to do that. I'm here to have contact with other genuine nudists and those who are really into joining in, inevitably you'll come across fakes/time wasters etc but life is too short to let that get in the way.

RE: Why?

Of course the reason to join a nudist site like this is to meet other nudists like yourself and hopefully make some new friends. If you are worried about fakes then get certified and only make friends with others who are certified, this will help reduce the fakes a lot. I personally think that all "TrueNudists" should be certified and a full nude photo should be required to be posted. But i am sure this would cut down on the sites revenue.

RE: Why?

Thanks for your response, But I am "new" and have read many talks on fakes and no pics etc., and unlike an experienced nudist like yourself, who seems to know everything about nudism, I am curious as to the advice and experiences of true nudists, so I don't think I am "pissing in the wind". I have always felt if you want to learn something ask those who know, therefore my inquiries. I am not wasting my time, and I am sorry if you wasted your time, taking time to respond with your valuable knowledge. Thanks again.

RE: Why?

I checked recently and only 22% of profiles have any photos in them. And some of them will be clothed. So there are four members without nude photos for every one with them. So those of us with nude photos are definitely in the minority. Should we shun them? I like to see other nudists naked and I like them to see me (I have nearly 1500 nude photos in my profile). But I understand why other, quite genuine, nudists do not want to risk putting nude photos on the internet.

RE: Why?

I had full nudes up the day I joined and I'm still very new to the nudist lifestyle. If their profile is blank and there's no pictures it's an automatic Deny. This post prompted me to check my friends list as I have accepted almost all the friend request which I have had on this site.
The overwhelming majority of them have a picture in their profile and most of them are naked.
