Spring into Action! :) Get it...Spring!
Spring is here, and it is time to break out the mower from its hibernation period.Change out the oil ( I found mine has a bottom drain....after I had already drained it from the top, doh!) and put fresh oil back in.Sharpen the blad.Put in fresh gas.Check and or change spark plug.
Go cut some lawn!
Happy Spring everyone!

Already have had to cut my lawn twice since the Spring season has sprung. I mow my backyard in the nude as well as do my gardening. Can't do that in the front yard because it is viewable by the public.

Don't forget to clean or replace the air filter. Most have a foam filter you can wash out with dish detergent in the sink. Dry it out good and reinstall.

It should have be cleaned and serviced before storing away for winter.

Some air filters need to be cleaned and have motor oil put into them and then squeezed out, so not sure that washing with water would be a good idea.
You should check you mowers manual for that info. And all else fails, you can replace the filter as they are not very expensive.
