The True Nudists site has grown to include a huge number of members. I would humbly suggest that it is now far too big for one person to run by himself. It would be a good time to improve the overall quality of this site by naming a few moderators who could delete questionable groups, forum posts and members. I am absolutely certain there are a few people here who would do so on a voluntary basis. Some here are doing their best to moderate but they need to have a little more ability to do so properly. If it is a question of wanting to be sure the job is done in a specific manner then please make up a set of guidelines and appoint some moderators.
Linda, I agree, but the problem may be finding someone who the owner feels will be fair. A few months ago, there were some moderators in chat who had the ability you mentioned. They were always professional when I was there, but there were some posts in the forum saying they did not handle the situation properly in chat and I have not seen them back after that. Without seeing everything that went on, it is hard to say if they acted appropriatly or not. I do know that I have seen some people get abusive in chat when one of the regulars said something to someone acting inappropriatly. I do wish they were still here because I have seen some things in chat that shouldn't happen.

i haven't read thru all 9 pages but maybe there could be an option to flag groups like is available to members. if a person feels a group is offensive or inappropriate they could flag it instead of going thru the steps of sending a message to the admin. if this has already been suggested then pretend you didn't see this.
Seems like every time I try to access the chat room, another page comes up asking me to check for viruses and/or trojans. I'm sure this isn't what's supposed to come up.
Try using Pop Up Stopper Pro. It keeps most pop up ads like that onefrom appearing.
I have a large number of photos posted. I sometimes call myself a "proud nudist", so I have not placed restrictions on my photos. Needless to say, there are several favorites that I'd prefer to have among those first five, so that all member s may accessthem, not just paying members. It appears thosefive are somewhat randomly selected from the most recent uploads, I'd love to be able toselect which ones appear there.
One way to accomplish selecting which 5 appear to non-paying member is to upload those 5 photos again. You need to have saved those 5 on your computer. After uploading those 5 again, delete the originals.

Unfortunately, the last ones uploaded are not the ones that show up in the first five. I have uploaded two at a time and have had one or none show up in the first five. I liked them to be sorted in the order uploaded because then it is easier to see the ones friends just uploaded easier.

This is almost certainly adware/malware rather than a TN issue. There are what are called "browser hijackers" that do that exact thing.
How to remove AntivirusBrowser hijacking is one of the web's constant dangers. Whether it arrives in the form of a flood of obscene pop-up windows assaulting you after a mistyped URL, or malicious code taking over your browser completely, chances are good that every Internet user will be subjected to this practice in some form.

Internet Explorer is susceptible to them because it allows running ActiveX files directly from a website if the user approves that action ... and in some cases even he/she doesn't. I'd suggest scanning the machine with AdAware or Spybot SD.
Excellent info, NudeinMA. Thank you!
I would like to see forum page navigation at the top of the page too.
I would like to see a last page link on the recent topic part of the "Home" page. so I don't need to click through many pages to find the end of popular threads.
I often get empty pages when clicking on the last page link in forum navigation at page bottom.
A whole page devoted to recent topics in the forums would be nice too.
Thanks!

That is just one of many good suggestions, that alas, are pretty low down the priority list.
Some of us have created "LAST PAGE" links on some of the longer threads, this can only
really be done, where we have a post, fairly near the top of the first page to put it on.
Suggest you look out for them, I did put one here about an hour ago. It's on comment # 04.
