The Biggest Fear Busted
It is kind of a breakthrough for Indian nudist scenario, though all problems are not going to get vanished overnight, and a lot remains to be done. It is one of my personal experiences. Have written in the blog with the following link. Please read and comment:

good sonaachand, now since your colleagues know you are a nudist, you dont have to hide your lifestyle from anyone. May be others may be motivated to follow you and try nudism.
I wonder why nudism is still taboo in India while I think nudism has been a part of Indian culture and history. Jainism, Naga sadhus and all have been part of Indian society and culture. I dont know why Indians have not accepted it fully till now..

hi d4sgren, i feel the reason is India is nudist tolerant as long as it is linked with spirituality. As u mentioned, Jain or nagas..they all have spiritual sanction and hence society looks at it as sacred and not sexual.
From my personal experience...at many places, seeing me nude people thought either i am a jain or naga...and then offered salutations to me. But non spiritual , non sexual pure nudity...is not accepted widely.
Though it has made its place in arts and literature...
