Bicycle Trail
To clothingoptional: pics go to staff first for approval before they show up. Usually within 12 to 36 hours.
I have yet to bike nude but thete are places around here where I could probably do it. Have biked to secluded spots for nude-in-nature time and yes it feels wonderful. Now you have motivated me.
one of the trails i hike is mix use hiking, mountain biking and even horses and i so want to mountain bike nude but unlike hiking i have time to coverup if i hear someone approach but on a bike that your pedaling there is no way to stop in time and coverup but i think this fall when it cools off and school restarts im going to give it a try ( ive done it at nudist camp but not the same) . and just like unable to coverup when riding i found out a few years ago there is no way to coverup when mountain bikes appears from no where and you have just enough time to get out of the way but they pass by so fast im sure i was just a blur.
ClothingOptional, if you want a really awesome experience, try the World Naked Bike Ride.St. Louis has one of the largest rides in the country. According to there web site, wnbrstl.org, the next ride is July 18th.I have ridden in the last five Los Angeles rides and I am looking forward to the ride coming up in three weeks.
Found a secluded spot on the bicycle trail and took a few nude pics. This is about as daring as I get. By the way, it felt awesome!
This is awesome! will definitely be adopting this. Thanks for the post and hope to see the pics soon. ADamI posted a couple more. Hopefully they will soon be viewable.
A secluded trail is definitely fun. One tactic that works pretty well is finding an out and back trail where there is a point where you can see a good distance of the trail towards the trailhead. You can ride to the end, verify nobody is there, then ride back to that viewing point. If you see nobody on the way, and see nobody on that stretch towards the trailhead, should should be fine stripping off and riding beck to the end of the trail. That means you can't really ride slowly, or someone might catch up.
That's my formula. It has worked so far.
I did try to take photos once. Nobody on the trail, scoped out the photo location. Set up the camera. Got ready to ride. Rode back and forth twice and put shorts back on to check the resulting photo. That's when a ranger came by on a bike checking the trail conditions, and stopped to chat for a while. If I waited 2 minutes more to put shorts on, I would have been caught. That was close.
There is something special about riding trails nude. I might organize a little WNBR on a trail sometime. I don't need the crowds, the publicity or the photographers. A peaceful ride with a few select friends would be wonderful. Protesting the view that nude is lewd, but doing it on a mountain bike trail. That would be more spiritual for me. A real WNBR is on the bucket list though. Someday, just not yet.

I did just this once in Spain (walking). I got caught out by the mid-daysiesta. The trail was empty as I went out, so I stripped off when I turned round. But by then the siesta was over and there were lots of others on the trail. Fortunately the Spanish are very tolerant of naked Englishmen in the countryside and my hat came in handy as an occasional cover..
