just joined the group so I thought I would share how my Sunday has started
Just as the birds started chirping I streaked out 60ft to the curbside box for the morning paper. Something I do year round no matter the temp. On winter morns at -F it makes sure I am awake. When it got light enough I went out and cleaned up the front yardof downed limbs from yesterday's storms. Carried them back to the burn pile. Made about half dozen trips just listening if a car came along so that I could be out of sight from the road. Just at sun up I did my annual tradition on June 28th, affix the new plate tagsto my vehicles the old ones expire today. I always wait until the last minute to put the new ones on and always do it nude. Both car and truck were in view of the road. Later today I will greet a houseguest in the buff. he is expecting a nudist host. How revealing will your Sunday be?
Mine started good kind of despite the rain and cooler air, had the dogs out in the front yard to do there business in just white nylon shorts almost see through. Then went into town about 4 miles away to get the papers and drove there and back nude. As I was leaving the store a guy walked out to get into his car as I was slipping my tee and shorts off to drive back nude, he just looked..lolI use to get the papers here and walk to the road to get them nude, drive way is about 400 feet long but discontinued home delivery.
Man you are all early risers! I just rolled out of bed and am sitting on the patio with first cup. Naked and thankful that my northwoods-acclimatized body is just fine with mid 60s and light breeze. No storms up here. Good to catch up with you all, enoy your naked time. Well, enjoy the whole day naked or not.
I slept in this morning awaking at 5:50 and crawling out of bed at 6:05. I guess that still makes me an early riser.
I see from another post temperatures have gone down so much a furnace was in order. We are experiencing the extreme opposite here on the BC coast. This morning by 10am it was 30.7C or 87F. It took most of the day yesterday to get up to 94F by 3pmbut I suspect it will be up there before noon. What is so special about these temperatures southernwarmer neighboursmay wonder? They are extremely high for here and this time of year.
I got up and grabbed my shorts and went downstairs thinking I'd go for my morning walk but decided as it will be so hot today I should get what I can around the place and in the suite before it is too hot to do anything. I guess I sound like a strange bird not liking heat but my internal body temperature is always on high so I prefer cool to heat. If I lived in Pakistan right now I would be one of the 800 people a day dying from the heat. Glad I live here.
I set up the last of the moldings I have to varnish and put the first coat on before 8. Then I worked in the suite doing final preparations to the walls where the moldings are going on. It was getting hotter around 9:20 so I stopped work and went for a short walk on the path system between our house and the road. I found it was getting too hot for me and returned to the suite at 10. That's when I saw the temperature on the outside thermometer. I guess my ''work'' day is over now and before it is too hot in my studio I thought I'd check out TN. On a day like today I wish we had a swimming pool.
