Woodlot staying open

We spoke with Gene last weekend and he is planning on staying open at least 3 more years. He is just having a hard time with the upkeep. We are heading over the tonight to help him (weed wack, brush removal, and whatever else we can do). He has had some problems with people taking advantage of him and I for one am tired of it. Some of his personal belongings have been taken and people not paying when they are there. He's 87 years old. He opens up his home and his land to people. We are going to help him every chance we get because he seems like a nice guy and we love being there. He had a good turn out last weekend despite the bad weather on Saturday. I think we can get more people there after we clean the place up. If anyone wants to help let us know. Just remember to call in advance to let him know you are coming over. He really appreciates it when people do that.
