Hello tn'ers any tips for writing songs on guitar?

I know intermediate level guitar (both accoustic and electric) and I wish to start creating songs myself? I don't know where to start. Any tips on how to go about doing it? Also are here any songwriter guitarists?

Just record all your ideas and you will work on the ones that really you like.
