Since only nudist in the house and really don't have as much time to be nude as others on here, we don't change the heat for me. When it does get cold enough we will light a fire. I absolutely love sleeping in the nude under the flannel sheets.
It's cold in New Hampshire from October to April. I keep my house cool too, so it can get chilly. I don't react too much to the temp changes and if I'm a little cool I put on a t-shirt and sometimes socks, but that's it around the house. I also go to a Russian steam sauna a lot during those month. I love the intense heat and hanging naked with other naked guys.
The cold winters and wind right off the North Atlantic Ocean means that the house is cool in the winter. Turning the thermostat high enough to remain naked is costly and contributes to global warming. We always sleep nude and our usual day clothes are heavy socks, sweat shirt and heavy robe. The robe is left open.
I am going to try to go nude more often this winter. The last two winters have been brutal, though. But, if one can acclimate to being nude at cool, indoor temperatures, the body adjusts and can tolerate the cold outside temperatures better. Outside, when the temperature falls below zero Fahrenheit, you can bet I'll be wearing several layers of clothing.
