Laser Razor
A link to a crowd-funded project for a laser razor, something that
shaved nudists may well find very useful if the project works out:

Disclaimer - I have no link to this project other than an interest as a nudist who likes to keep my body shaved smooth.
I'm hopeful that this will be the answer to keeping smooth all over
without the possibility of 'burn' as with bladed razors. From some
blurb online -
All hair molecules contain chromophores responsible for giving the
hair its colour.In particular, these particles absorb and reflect
wavelengths of light, and the type of wavelengths they reflect
determine the colour.The experts at Skarp Technologies found a
chromophore that is present in everyone's hair - regardless of
colour - and discovered which wavelengths of light it is affected
by.A laser using a wavelength that breaks the hair if it comes into
contact with this chromophore was fitted onto a razor using an
optical fibre.In traditional razors, the blades cut the hair shaft
at an angle.By comparison, when the Skarp razor makes contact, the
laser 'melts' through the hair shaft level to the surface of the
skin.This not only breaks the hair, it also causes no
irritation.
Its still in development so there may well be some time before it
becomes available widely but I look forward to being nude and very
smooth thanks to the laser razor.
