Pack it in, pack it out, and nudist leaving it better than when you arrived
One of the biggest slogans I have seen when I backpacking was "leave no trace". An extension of the campaign of the Sierra Club to clean up the environment in places where man normally does not go on a day to day basis! The idea was that where ever you go, pack out what you take in. When I go to an area where people have been, I am struck by how much trash people leave behind! When I go in, I take a few trash bags with me and pick up what I can carry out, that may linger too long in the environment, such as plastic bottles, glass and cans. One thing I noticed was a lot of Naturist groups taking care of their skinny dipping environment such as More Mesa beach, Blacks, San Onofre, which is a good thing to hear, and am encouraged by that, but more is needed in areas where we don't normally go to be nude!
I know for a fact that if you are nude in the BLM controlled areas, you are safe from citations, if you abide by certain rules while out in the environment. But if you go as a group, and take bags to collect items to pack out, it sheds a positive outlook on our lifestyle! Groups such as the SCNA, and others do a bare as you dare clean up of a beach, that is normally used by textile locals. If others want to do similar areas of the National Forests, this would be an environmental boon for cleaning up those areas as well!
