Modern Culture Destroying Fathers
When I was a child, I and my brother would bath and shower with my dad. We didn't see it as sexual, and nor did he. He was being a true role model of masculinity. What is going on?https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2015/10/06/perez-hilton-hits-back-at-homophobic-critics-following-shower-selfie/?utm_source=ET&utm_medium=ETFB&utm_campaign=portal&utm_content=inf_10_1224_2&ts_pid=2
In the morning brothers, I and dad could not have an shame in a small house. School showers were mandatory after gym in the gang shower and then I was in the military so communal showering was normal. Maybe cause I grew up in the south it was different. Most guys my age seem scared of the gym locker-room and I heard some mother was complaining so they my put dividers in the boys shower room at my old high school or let the boys opt out of showering. Sad.
Well spoken Richard. I believe you identified a big problem facing our society today. A distorted perspective of the male role model & sons. The innocent healthy nude exposure helped to form a sound & confident feeling towards one's self esteem. And an ability to accept one's masculinity as a norm to be respected.

I also showered with my father, uncles and cousins whenever possible and there was no harm in this. Even with my mother I would shower. When I have kids, I'm going to take a bath with them, too, and I want nudity to be as natural as it has to be.

I think most mothers do not agree very much that their children take baths together. My mother even told me not to change clothes in front of others, which was normal for me.
