Is modern Culture destroying the Father figure?

When I was a child, I and my brother would bath and shower with my dad. We didn't see it as sexual, and nor did he. He was being a true role model of masculinity. I don't think culture is destroying father figures. We used to shower with dad too and for the same reasons you mention. Perhaps it is the fact that we are becoming more diverse and accepting of all of the wonderful and beautiful variations of what it is to be human and a father now days. I am a grandfather. That is a real gift!
