Nude Beach Runs
On a regular basis I run nude (not very fast as I stay on
the soft sand) for over 3 miles on one of the most popular beaches in Los
Angeles. To get away with it, I go an hour or two after the sun has set. By
this time of day the beach is nearly deserted. I have done this off and on for
15 years at the same location, and never had any issues. But still it is a
little bit of a thrill to be nude in such a public place that normally is
filled with many people, and even in the evening the nearby highway is full of
cars. Also it feels so much better to run without clothes. Perhaps this is not
too daring as there is little chance of getting caught, but one still needs to
be aware of officials on evening patrols.
I would love it if others in the LA area would join me as
well.
Sounds great. I won't ever get to join you but I do know the enjoyment of naked beach runs even where it is not officially OK. I am wondering if you wear shoes or go barefoot. I think I would be most concerned about stepping on something I couldn't see after sunset.
One of my favorite things to do when I was younger, in HS, and on the track team. I'd go to the beach on weekends with my GF/wife and she'd sit and read and I'd go for a run ... usually at Huntington.
When we became nudists, I wasn't sure where to go to run naked and even if I had found San Onofre or Black's, not sure she would have been ready for public nudity at the time. It wasn't until we visited Club Orient on the island of St. Martin/Sint Maarten that I could run naked. That was back in 2001. I loved running that beach every morning, most times just wearing a hat and sunglasses. Did that for several years and then the right knee began giving me problems again so I had to stop.
No more running or jogging for me! :p
I would love to be able to do that, unfortunately like Andy I have a bit of a back and nee problem that would limit me ability to keep up with you.
Now a nice brisk walk would be no problem.
I would also like to know which beach you go to so if you would not mind, please send be a PM with the location. Maybe some day I can at least try that walk if not the run.
I did forget to mention my back issues but I guess I could do a little light jogging but I'd have to wear a soft back brace and two knee braces ... hell, if I got to start wearing too many contraptions to jog ... I'll pass and remain naked! LOL :D
I do go barefoot. I can't think of any issues I have ever had. I hate getting sand in my shoes, and the sand feels good on my feet, I stay in the soft stuff. It is a good idea to have some GooGone or WD-40 to remove any of the natural tar that one can get. And when I get home I always clean my feet or get in the hot tub
