Nice Rose Garden
Sunflowers? Interesting! Seeds available online? Super tall versions? Any issue with them remaining upright? This past summer, in my garden at Pine Tree, I grew lantana for first time. Really enjoyed it, and loved the herbal quality of its leaves. Coleus. Love coleus. Have lotsa shade, so different shades of hostas and bleeding hearts. Echinacea and cone-flowers, agree! Shooting stars for interest. Portulacca for intense colors in sun. Begonias for heat times. Crocosmia and day-lilies for height. Ladies loved the purple celosia. Nasturtiums, edible and cheery. This coming summer going to try more zinnias. They lasted bright and string in another nudist's garden all summer. If I had to choose my all-time favorite? Hmmmm. Ok, for short bursts of intense color fun? Tulips!!!!! I built a big tulip/annual garden this summer. It's all bulbed and sleeping now. Spring gonna be wild!!
What Is Your Choice Of Flowers?
I will be planting some Daffodil & Iris bulbs in one section of my yard. Other sections will be well represented with Marigolds and Zinnias. I am not a big fan of vine type flowers in my current yard, but in my more dream garden, I would have things like Wisteria. Dahlia's are another one waiting to find the ideal spot in my yard. My wife is the one to do all the indoor plants which includes at this time - Bird of Paradise, Orchids, and even a little Papaya plant. She also recently got some lemons seeds to sprout and we have a little lemon grove growing!
