Seattle Polar Bear Plunge

Is anyone up for doing the Polar Bear Plunge nude at Howell Park this year? Every New Years Day Seattle Parks Department holds a Polar Bear Plunge at Madison Beach. It would be nice to have an alternative naked version down the street at Howell Park.

I put up an identical post on the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Idaho, Oregon, And Lower BC) Nudists group at the same time I put up this one and it has generated more activity. Anyone interested in going please contact us here or there (no commitment necessary). Only ten days to go, let's try to get as large a group as we can!

The weather on New Years Day is predicted to be SUNNY! Cold but clear and sunny. It would be nice to see as many people there as possible, it's a chance to get naked in the coldest part of the year. Even if you don't want to go in it would be fun to have you there.

Great day! About a dozen or so people showed up. And most went in the water. Hopefully we can get an even bigger crowd next year. It was extremely cold but great fun none the less. Happy New Year everybody!
