I actually looked up the record in my kid's new Guiness Book of Records and couldn't find it. What's the record officially called? P.S. I'm hoping to take part at a non landed club's president's residence. Wow-what a mouthful! cn

skinnydip for a Myrtle Beach newspaper. If anyone sees it, please cut

This event deserves all the publicity it can get. Let's hope the rest of the Country is getting the degree of interest which we are receiving here in SC.

AANR plans to coordinate skinny-dipping events at participating clubs and nude beaches in appropriate settings throughout North America on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Nudist Time, to coordinate with Nude Recreation Week.This event will focus the attention of the world on the joys of wholesome, happy skinny-dipping as an American tradition proudly supported by AANR and recognized by the Guinness World Records Company.The AANR World Record Skinny-Dip will help unite AANR members and skinny-dippers into one big community across North America. As of this morning there were 41,945 profiles listed on TN. Not all were from North America, of course. This count includes our nudist friends from around the world. With last years Skinny DipRecordat 13,648, if the majority of TN members participated this year, it would be possible to double, even triple last years record. Each participant could be considered a positive vote for nudism.
This is a wonderful opportunity for first timers to get their feet wet in social nudism. More accurately, I should say, get everything wet. Many clubs will be hosting open houses, giving you the chance to experience social nudism at no charge. For the shy; you will blend into a crowd of happy, like minded people and soon become very comfortable.

Hey Mac, great statistics! Including Canada (which is participating in the Skinny Dip) there are 24,043 North American profiles here on TN.

Last year we participated at Solair. This year we're participating at Rock Lodge. Looking forward to seeing you again ocmick! And looking forward to meeting more TNers.

Here in Southern Cal-a-for-nee the Glen Eden club has had notices on their bulletin boards for a few weeks already and are ready to go. Unfortunately, except for vacations, I work weekends and won't be able to make it....
