BVR. It will be the second time in my life when I've been in a pool. The first was a wading pool 60+ years ago. Oh well. If I drown, there will be a lotta folks to drag me out.
It is essential to be included in the Official Count before being dragged from the pool.

The time is now 4:35 PM EDT, 6 July 2010. The dip is now 94h 25 minutes away. I'm a-gittin' hyped.

We're up 1/2 more than our count last year. It's going to be great!

I just finished a 15-minute interview regarding nudism & THEskinnydip for a Myrtle Beach newspaper. If anyone sees it, please cutout the page and mail it me or scan and email it to me. I mentioned most of the SC and NC clubs.

I happened to be present when hard copy of the the article was being distributed. Im happy to report that all reactions were positive among the readers. The reactions ranged from, Wow , Ive got to be there to Is this for real and where is Ocean Isle Beach? I also , heard a comment, Is this legal?
I assured everyone that it was legal and was vocal in telling everyone what a great time it was last year and that it may be the only chance they would ever have to be in the Guinness World Book of Records..
Though, my quote in the final paragraph was taken somewhat out of context, this was a very positive article for nudism. What I said was, getting into nudism is like a plunge into a cool pool, a bit of a shock at first, but once in, it feels good.

This article is exactly the type of media coverage that we need to be accepted by the general populous I sent the writer a congratulatory e-mail on a fine article with the wish that follow up coverage would be forthcoming after the event
